Gareth Bale will hand over almost £1m to fund the fight against coronavirus in Wales and Spain. The Real Madrid forward and his wife Emma have made a £500,000 donation to help NHS staff fighting the crisis in Cardiff and will follow that up with a further €500,000 for the health service in Madrid.

Chelsea FC offers hotel to NHS staff

 
NHS hospital staff are to be put up in a hotel owned by Chelsea football club, as part of efforts to help during the coronavirus crisis. The club said the Millennium Hotel at Stamford Bridge will be made available to medics in north-west London. The NHS said it was “enormously grateful” to the club and was looking for similar offers of support.

Netflix Donates £1 Million To The COVID-19 Film And TV Emergency Relief Fund

 
The British Film Institute (BFI) and The Film & TV Charity have pledged to support the creative sector in the U.K. through the creation of the COVID-19 Film and TV Emergency Relief Fund. 
 
The fund was initiated through a £1 million donation from subscription-video-on-demand service Netflix.

Herd of Wild Goats Invade Empty Welsh Seaside Town During Lockdown

 
A herd of over 100 goats have taken advantage of the coronavirus lockdown and invaded a deserted town. Usually, the wild herd of Kashmiri goats only venture into Llandudno in north Wales during bad weather. But local residents say the empty streets have drawn the opportunistic goats into town.
