In this role you will assist with operations and administrative duties such as ensuring all paperwork is handled with appropriate care and attention, ordering office supplies, checking and replying to emails and phone calls and reporting any issues to the office manager. Overall they ensure their office or building runs smoothly by supporting and communicating with the various departments within the organisation.

Additional qualifications such as a Level 2 Diploma in construction and the built environment, and a BIFM Level 2 qualification in Facilities Services will be extremely useful in helping career progression within the industry. Having a degree in a related subject such as Business or Management is also advisable, however it is possible to work your way up to more senior positions without these higher level qualifications.
