Role Overview:

As a Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of our clients new Estates Strategy. Collaborating closely with their Engineering division, you'll ensure seamless operational delivery of infrastructure management, engineering, and maintenance services. This includes driving sustainability initiatives and meeting carbon reduction targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead mechanical & electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, time, and budgetary constraints.

• Compliance: Ensure all works meet statutory requirements and standards, maintaining Health, Safety & Welfare standards.

• Innovation: Identify and champion energy-saving opportunities through rigorous project analysis and development of business cases.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives and enhance campus facilities.

Person Specification:

• Qualifications: BTEC HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Services (essential), BEng Degree (desirable), Professional Project/Programme Management Qualification (desirable).

• Experience: Proven track record in managing projects ranging from £5,000 to £1,000,000, ideally in diverse building types and settings like listed properties or scientific laboratories.

• Skills: Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to prioritise multiple projects, and excellent IT proficiency including Microsoft packages.
