Position: Operations Manager Reporting to: General Manager

Hours: Full-time; Monday – Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (with potential flexibility for remote work)

Your Role as Operations Manager:

As the Operations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of creating a safe, vibrant, and well-managed environment for our business members. You will:

• Lead the charge in identifying and resolving street-based issues.

• Showcase your exceptional administration and coordination skills across multiple workstreams.

• Apply your expert project and contract management talents.

• Bring strategic oversight, creative thinking, and innovative problem-solving to the table.

• Forge strong relationships with stakeholders from both public and private sectors.

• Develop and maintain efficient processes and systems.

• Exhibit a keen organisational acumen and the ability to build rapport with diverse personalities.

Essential Skills We're Looking For:

• Exceptional organisational skills, proven by managing multiple tasks concurrently.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities, thinking creatively to find solutions.

• A gift for building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.

• Experience collaborating with private and public sector organizations.

• Proven contract and project management skills, with a track record of success.

• Proficiency in computer and data analysis.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Business Improvement District (BID) or similar partnership/membership organization.

• Experience working with local authorities, police, highways, and transportation.

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of five years' experience in an operational role.

What Your Work Entails:

• Street Management: Investigate and resolve issues, manage contracts, and ensure the area's quality.

• Increasing Security and Resilience: Manage security tools, data analysis, and emergency plans.

• Sustainability and Public Realm: Support greening and sustainability initiatives.

• Stakeholder Relations and Communications: Build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.

• Contract Management and Reporting: Oversee budgets, contracts, and KPIs.
