Job Title: Operations Manager

Responsibilities:
People:

• Provide a customer-focused service ensuring high-quality delivery to occupiers.

• Represent our client as a high-profile Manager, delivering engaging presentations.

• Work closely with the General Manager to ensure teams are well-trained and developed.

• Manage, motivate, and develop the building team to achieve exceptional results.

• Proactively build relationships with all levels of occupiers.

Financial:

• Prepare, monitor, and reconcile service charge budget lines.

• Ensure signed contracts are in place for all suppliers, reviewing them periodically.

• Audit and check supplier delivery, authorising contractor invoices for payment.

• Maintain proper records of expenditure and spending commitments.

Systems & Processes:

• Act as Deputy Responsible Person in the General Manager's absence.

• Ensure adequate staffing levels and provision for emergency and out-of-hours cover.

• Deliver sustainable best practices and contribute to the development of strategies and policies.

• Focus on business efficiency through the implementation of technology solutions.

• Turn operational KPIs and performance data into operational strategy and process.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure health and safety compliance at the property under the Landlord's control.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety strategies and practices.

Person Specification:

• NEBOSH OR IOSH H&S qualification.

• Conversant with current Health and Safety legislation.

• Experience in a multi-discipline soft services environment in a management or supervisory role.

• Demonstrable Customer Service experience.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft packages.

• Experience of working within a service charge-driven environment.

• Tender and/or Management of Third-Party Contracts.
