Maxwell Stephens’ client is a leading service provider and this is a fantastic opportunity for a senior technical professional to join this global organisation.

You will be accountable for functional technical services support for a high profile account in the pharmaceutical sector. You will utilise your engineering experience and skills to manage a highly competent workforce across the UK, therefore a full driving license is essential.

Role

  • To provide strategic technical and energy leadership to the region in order to deliver significant business growth and profitability
  • To establish and effectively lead highly capable in area (South) technical services teams who will deliver against the strategic objectives for the contract
  • Ensuring that all requirements of the Technical Services centre of Excellence are implemented, embedded and delivered across the contract
  • Ensure that all technical services are being delivered in a safe, compliant, diligent and cost effective manner
  • Define a robust and achievable strategy which will successfully improve the regions performance in technical services and energy management
  • Become a service line of excellence to internal and external clients
  • Develop strong relationships with our clients and customers across the contract
  • Act as a technical services subject matter expert for the contract

Desired experience

  • Ideally a Chartered Engineer with over 10 years’ experience
  • Experience of having operated successfully at a senior technical level within an outsourced B2B environment
  • Experience of working in critical environments ideally with experience in FMCG, manufacturing and data centres
  • Energy Management Qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior technical and energy manager role
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Development of commercially viable solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client needs and price products/services accordingly
  • Considerable experience in private sector technical service delivery
  • Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
