Back to Vacancies ListOur client is world regarded Facilities Management organisation who are now looking for an Operations Director with Full Facilities Management experience across the pharmaceutical OR a related sector to manage a large multi-million-pound contract with their key pharmaceutical client
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Director who wants the opportunity to drive this particular business forward.
- To provide strategic leadership across the accounts, lead in the
- Delivery of significant profitable growth through new and existing client contracts and relationships.
- Develop business strategy
- Act as the key strategic interface between the client and fellow directors within the business.
- To ensure the delivery of all service activities across the account portfolio, working with clients, and all internal operations, delivering consistency in our offer
- To provide thought leadership on services, advising on strategic improvements, opportunities or new initiatives
- Implement transformation and change programs, maximising operational excellence, maintaining process improvement and service development
- Budget Management of approx. £8 Million
- Managing multiple projects
- Health & Safety
Ultimately the role itself focuses on leadership, financial management and relationship building
Other Skills Required:
- Considerable experience in an FM leadership senior management role
- Facilities/Engineering degree/Technical background
- Experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry sectors
- Proven experience of managing a high profile, quality led P&L contract
- Experience of leading a large team and significant budget, £8 million budget
- Significant experience within a multi service line FM environment
- Excellent relationship management at all levels
- High level of practical knowledge of SHE and legislative requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 1&2)
- Authorised Person (Trade Discipline Specific)
- Certification in Risk Assessment
- Water hygiene & quality Management (L8)
- BIFM or CIBSE desirable
- NVQ level 3 time served technician, who has then progressed into management with some form of management or FM qualification
