Our client are a successful service provider whom operate nationwide across both the private and public sectors

  • To support and lead the operational delivery of new/existing business and the continuous improvement of existing accounts working closely with the Senior Management.
  • To work closely with the business development team to win/grow/retain business with new and existing customers.  Representing the operation function within the sales process.  This will involve review and design of operating models, customer presentations and meetings.
  • To give confidence to new customers of our clients operational capability and provide re-assurance of such.
  • To take responsibility for contract delivery, from inception, through mobilisation, transition and into steady state.  Dependant on work load and contract type responsibility will be retained on contracts or handed over to the appropriate manager within the region.
  • Ensure all relevant Health & Safety procedures/regulations are complied with and that Health and Safety is engrained within our teams.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in a compliant and timely manner with appropriate controls and checks in place to provide the necessary levels of business assurance both internally and externally.
  • To identify and to ensure contract/specification requirements are delivered, ( Contract deliverables) and monitored appropriately in terms of both frequency and method.
  • Support the Contract Managers in identifying all the contract requirements in the contract documents ensuring that all contracts are compliant with Kier and contractual processes and procedures.
  • To comply with all Company Policies & Procedures and feedback opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide leadership to operational teams in terms of safety, compliance, financial management, customer service, people management, service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Attend regular client and contractor meetings as required
  • Assist Contract Managers in the appropriate selection, recruitment, management, training and retention of staff in line with HR policy and procedures.
  • Development of people and succession plans for operational accounts within responsibility.
  • Liaise with procurement team to obtained excellent value for money and compliance in procurement practices.
  • To support Regional Manager/Kier team in general with reference visits and operational material to demonstrate  first class service.
  • To influence and inform key decision
  • To resolve conflict and disputes
  • To lead continuous improvement of contracts and support the continuous improvement of the organisation as a whole as a senior member of the operations team.

Experience Required

  • Over 10 years’ experience of managing service delivery of a wide range of FM services.
  • Safety qualifications appropriate to role with an excellent attitude to safety leadership and compliance in general.
  • Proven track record in the FM sector with a leading provider.
  • First class customer relationship skills with strong contract retention record.
  • Proven P&L responsibility delivery appropriate levels of profit.
  • Strong people management skills over a wide ranging workforce.
  • A range of FM sector experience at a senior level.
  • The ability to work within a fast moving environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and highly organised.
  • Computer literate (minimum Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Customer services orientated approach
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • The post holder must have a driving licence as travel between sites and to meetings will be a necessary part of the role.
  • Must undertake an enhanced disclosure through the Criminals Records Bureau and meet the requirements of CRB Policy.
