Our client are a successful independent property consultancy.

Due to success they are now looking to appoint an  experienced  centre  manager  to  take operational control of this centre on a part time basis (4 hrs – 5hrs per day), on the outskirts of Leeds.

Such a  person is expected to deliver sound,  operationally  well  organised  and  economically  competitive  services  for commercial occupiers whilst upholding the investment value of owners’ property assets.

You will be working closely with the Landlord, the tenants and the general public. You’ll play an important role in providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment. Your varied role will  include  managing  the  Centre  and  its  facilities;  dealing  with  emergencies  and  helping customers access other services as the need arises. You will also be actively involved in the development and delivery of the annual business plan and service charge budget. You will be responsible for the delivery of a common strategy for both the operations and promotion of  the  entire  scheme  as  well  as  creating  opportunities  for  charitable,  artistic  and  income producing concessions.

You  will  be  a  self-motivated and  an  influential  person  already  equipped  with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, setting high standards throughout; aiming at all times for continuous improvement. You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. You will be commercially aware with sound financial experience in the management of Budgets and Service Charges with  the  ability  to  gain  the  respect  of  key  stakeholders.  Strong organisation and planning abilities are required.

The  successful  candidate  will  be  an  accomplished  Centre  Manager  possessing  a  strong knowledge of Retail Management and current H&S legislation ideally  possess  an  IOSH  or  NEBOSH  certificate  and  hold current membership of a relevant trade body. Previous experience of successfully managing a  similar  centre  would  be  beneficial  combined  with  extensive  experience  of delivering high levels of customer service.
