This year has brought both challenges and successes, and we’re incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built and strengthened along the way. Your support has been central to everything we do.

Maxwell Stephens: Looking Back at 2025

As 2025 comes to an end, it’s a great opportunity to pause and reflect on what has been another busy and rewarding year at Maxwell Stephens. Over the past 12 months, we’ve continued doing what we do best, sharing insights, building strong partnerships, and delivering recruitment solutions that make a real difference across the facilities management sector.

Keeping the Conversation Going in FM

Throughout the year, we’ve published a wide range of blogs aimed at supporting both employers and FM professionals in a changing market.

From exploring how technology and AI are influencing the FM workforce, to discussing leadership, workplace expectations, and long-term estate strategies, our content focused on the topics that matter most to the industry right now. We also shared insights from respected voices within facilities management, helping to add broader perspective to the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

Alongside this, we continued to publish practical, career-focused advice, from interview tips to guidance on career progression, designed to help candidates feel more confident and informed at every stage of their journey.

Real Results Through Recruitment

Of course, recruitment remained at the heart of everything we did in 2025, and our case studies tell the story of a year filled with successful partnerships and strong outcomes.

We worked with organisations across a wide variety of sectors, including commercial property, retail, education, heritage, and financial services. Placements included senior appointments such as recruiting a Head of Group Estates & Facilities Management for AO.com, as well as appointing a General Manager for Brookfield Properties’ landmark 1 Leadenhall development.

Every role came with its own challenges, and each required a tailored approach. By combining sector knowledge, targeted search, and a strong focus on cultural fit, we were able to deliver placements that worked for both clients and candidates, not just on day one, but for the long term.

Supporting Better Decisions with Insight and Resources

Beyond recruitment, we continued to invest in tools and resources that help our clients and candidates make better decisions.

Our Facilities Management Salary Survey remained a key resource throughout the year, offering valuable insight into salary trends and market conditions. We also expanded our collection of guides, templates, and hiring resources to support smoother recruitment processes and stronger FM teams.

Adding value beyond the vacancy has always been important to us, and that remained a clear focus in 2025.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As facilities management continues to evolve, we’re heading into 2026 with plenty of momentum. Our focus remains the same: delivering informed, effective recruitment solutions while continuing to share insight that supports the wider FM community.
