Are you a seasoned Building Services professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting on behalf of a prestigious corporate organisation for a Building Services Senior Coordinator to lead and enhance the delivery of technical building services at a large, modern office site in Sutton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background, coupled with proven supervisory experience, to join a highly professional in-house facilities team and contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming, and efficient workplace.

The Role

As the Building Services Senior Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and compliance of building systems and services. Working closely with an outsourced M&E service partner and a small in-house team, you’ll ensure that all building systems run smoothly, safely, and in line with high corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and manage the delivery of high-quality building services across the site.

· Oversee mechanical and electrical systems via the outsourced partner, including service engineer supervision, work approval, and invoice reconciliation.

· Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and contractor performance, and manage all building maintenance and repair activities.

· Support HSEQ compliance and coordinate with internal stakeholders to align services with company policy.

· Maintain and update asset and O&M records, track costs, and contribute to budget planning.

· Provide direct supervision to the Building Services Coordinator and be the primary contact for all operational building matters.

· Support office moves and ensure high service standards during periods of change or refurbishment.

About You

You’ll be a hands-on and proactive professional, ideally with:

· At least 5 years’ experience in a similar rolewithin a corporate or commercial office environment.

· HND or equivalent in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

· Excellent handyman skills across electrical, plumbing, and decorating tasks.

· Strong understanding of health & safety in the workplace.

· Experience with managing contractors, reporting technical information clearly, and leading small teams.

· A calm, organised, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

· Good IT skills and familiarity with facilities or asset management systems.

Desirable Experience

· Exposure to modern BMS systems and energy dash boards.

· Awareness of BREEAM Excellent standards and assessments.
