
Are you a strategic finance leader looking for a high-impact role in a fast-growing business? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company operating across the Facilities Management and Property Technology sectors as their new Group Finance Director.
You’ll play a key leadership role in driving financial performance, shaping commercial strategy, and leading a high-performing finance function within a forward-thinking, growth-focused organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Group Chairman and working closely with the senior management team, you’ll take full ownership of the finance function—delivering best-in-class reporting, forecasting, and financial insight.
This is a hands-on and strategic leadership role, where you’ll have a genuine impact on the company’s direction and success. You’ll lead and support a capable finance team while continuously improving processes, systems, and performance across the board.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the finance function, ensuring timely reporting and robust financial control
• Deliver accurate management accounts, statutory reporting, forecasting and KPI dashboards
• Drive budgeting, long-term planning, and financial strategy
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and liquidity
• Support and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of high performance
• Contribute to wider commercial and operational strategy
• Champion process improvement and the implementation of scalable financial systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and support internal audit processes
What We’re Looking For
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Proven experience in a senior finance role (FD, FC, Head of Finance or similar)
• Strong background in managing finance within a £30m+ turnover business
• Sector experience in facilities management, property, or technology (desirable)
• Skilled in financial systems—ideally including Xero and Excel
• Commercially aware, data-driven, and strategic
