Our Client is seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Services & IT to lead and oversee key operational functions across our UK business.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational management of IT, Facilities Management and Front of House, while also holding ownership for Operational Resilience across the organisation.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a high-performing workplace environment, supporting regulatory obligations, and delivering resilient operational infrastructure that enables the business to operate effectively and deliver an exceptional client experience.

The Role

Reporting to the COO, you will lead the Corporate Services function and ensure the smooth running of core operational services.

You will oversee technology support, workplace services and reception, while also ensuring strong operational resilience frameworks, regulatory compliance and vendor oversight.

You will also act as a key operational partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation and contribute to strategic initiatives and regulatory projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead and oversee the IT Onsite Support, Facilities Management and Front of House teams

• Ensure the business operates within a robust operational resilience framework, including KPI monitoring and reporting

• Act as Crisis Manager during operational disruptions and maintain crisis management training and business continuity planning

• Oversee IT failover testing, business continuity arrangements and resilience planning

Facilities & Workplace Management

• Ensure the London office provides a safe, compliant and high-quality working environment

• Manage rent, service charges, utilities, insurance, cleaning and maintenance contracts

• Lead office planning and workplace projects, including employee moves and office configuration

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Technology & Infrastructure

• Oversee onsite IT support services to ensure effective operational delivery

• Manage the provision of recorded communications for regulated employees across telephony, mobile and video conferencing systems

• Ensure secure handling of cheques and share certificates in line with FCA CASS regulations

Regulatory & Operational Governance

• Support the COO with regulatory and change management projects

• Maintain oversight of third-party suppliers and outsourcing arrangements

• Deliver annual regulatory reporting requirements including ESOS and TCFD

• Support vendor management, budgeting and local invoicing processes

• Act as Deputy Security Officer

Team Leadership

• Provide leadership and oversight to the Facilities Manager and Head of Front of House

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

• Ensure team members have clear development plans and access to training

• Manage performance, conduct and engagement within the function

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a senior operational leader who combines strong leadership capability with practical operational expertise.

You will bring:

• Proven experience leading corporate services, facilities or operational functions

• Experience managing technology support and workplace services in a regulated environment

• Strong knowledge of operational resilience, risk and regulatory frameworks

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to navigate complexity and drive results across multiple operational areas

Relevant industry qualifications are advantageous.
