We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Facilities Management to lead and oversee all FM operations across multiple sites in London, including HQ and visiting properties. This is a high-profile role, reporting to the Managing Director, with responsibility for driving operational excellence, compliance, and service quality.

The Role

You will lead a team of Facilities Managers and Building Managers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, high performance, and a positive team culture. You will oversee maintenance, compliance, and health & safety across sites, while implementing processes and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery. This role also involves strategic planning, budget oversight, and stakeholder management, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate the FM team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.

• Manage all planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring operational standards, SLAs, and compliance requirements are met.

• Oversee health, safety, fire, and building compliance across sites, promoting a proactive culture.

• Analyse operational data to identify improvements, optimise workflows, and support strategic decision-making.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contractors, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading facilities management operations, including team leadership and operational oversight.

• Strong technical knowledge of FM systems and building compliance.

• Experience with budget management, reporting, and operational optimisation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• FM qualification (e.g., IWFM Level 4+) and Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH) desirable.
