We are on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician Electrical to join our clients Facilities Department, a leading institute. Position: Maintenance Technician Electrical

Hours/Tenure: 37.5 hours per week plus regular standby and emergency callouts

Reporting to: Senior Facilities Manager

Primary Job Purpose:

Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment and services, with a focus on electrical systems.

Undertake first-level fault finding and repairs on building assets, equipment, and medical devices.

Execute minor improvement works and actively participate in the on-call rota for emergency reactive calls.

What We're Looking For:

• Education and Qualification: Good general education with GCSE grades A to C or equivalent, recognized trade apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 1, 2, 3 electrical engineering (18th edition) or equivalent, and a full driving license.

• Experience and Knowledge: Relevant work experience, exposure to industrial/commercial environments, on-call rota participation, BMS/BEMS systems experience, and a strong grasp of Health & Safety.

• Skills and Competencies: Organizational prowess, effective problem resolution, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, basic computer literacy, and interpretation of drawings and operation manuals.

• Personal Attributes: Flexibility, attention to detail, willingness to work at heights, participation in the on-call rota, and an approachable and tactful demeanor.
