
Maxwell Stephens is partnering with a high-performing, international financial services business to appoint a Real Estate & Workplace Strategy Associate to support its EMEA real estate and workplace agenda.

Reporting into the Head of Real Estate Strategy & Operations – EMEA, the role offers hands-on involvement in real estate decision-making across offices in London, Germany, Spain, Dubai, France, Italy and Sweden, with clear scope to grow into a more strategic position over time.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the management and optimisation of the EMEA real estate portfolio, combining analytical work with project coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
Real Estate & Portfolio Support
• Supporting the management of the EMEA office footprint, including lease data, documentation and renewal tracking
• Assisting with site evaluations and workplace strategy initiatives alongside external advisers and internal stakeholders
• Helping assess options for space expansion, consolidation or reconfiguration aligned to business growth
Market & Financial Analysis
• Tracking occupancy data, real estate trends and market intelligence across EMEA
• Preparing benchmarking reports and high-level cost summaries to support decision-making
• Working closely with Finance on budgets, forecasts and cost analysis
Workplace Planning & Project Coordination
• Supporting space planning, seating plans and headcount forecasting in partnership with IT, HR and business leaders
• Assisting with office moves, refurbishments and workplace change projects, including documentation and progress tracking
Vendor & Stakeholder Support
• Liaising with external real estate advisers, consultants and local office contacts
• Supporting RFPs, contracts and service agreements where required
About You
• 1–3 years’ experience in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, property advisory or a related field
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, with some exposure to lease management or transaction support
• Confident using Excel and PowerPoint; experience with space planning tools is advantageous
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and across multiple locations
• Knowledge of the London and/or wider European corporate real estate market is desirable
• Ambitious and keen to develop into a strategic real estate role within a global business
