What You'll Do:

As The Senior Facilities Manager, you'll lead a team of professionals in delivering efficient and timely responses to all maintenance needs across the Wisley site. You'll develop and implement a comprehensive FM plan, ensuring that all facilities are operating at their best. From managing budgets to overseeing project timelines, your role will be varied and challenging, offering opportunities for growth and development at every turn.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the team in carrying out efficient and timely responses to emergency, planned, and reactive works.

• Developing and delivering the rolling five-year FM plan for Wisley, implementing annual maintenance programs.

• Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly checks on site facilities are carried out in line with procedures and regulations.

• Managing the facilities service provision roster to ensure appropriate cover at all times.

• Proactively managing all external contractors and agencies engaged by the Society.

• Coordinating and managing projects, ensuring operational impacts are minimized.

• Managing the annual student changeover and maintenance process.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you'll need a recognised Facilities Management qualification and extensive experience in people and project management. You'll have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Building trade qualifications (qualified plumber, electrician, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning engineer).

• Experience in managing sustainable energy systems such as air source heat pumps and solar panels.
