Our 2019 in Review
Before we review our 2019, we’d like to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our candidates, clients and everyone who has helped to make 2019 another fantastic year! The vast majority of our business comes from referrals and positive word-of-mouth so we know just how vital you are to our continued success. We hope to continue working with you all in 2020 and beyond and we look forward to what the new year has to bring us!
2019 has been a tumultuous year, both within the FM industry and the wider world. The FM sector has seen quite a shake-up this year, with a number of big players either going into liquidation or bowing out of the market including the likes of Carillion, Interserve and The Kier Group.
As we discussed in a blog post this year, there is also a growing trend and increasing pressure to move FM services in-house, particularly in the public sector. The FM industry is certainly dynamic to say the least. It is a constantly evolving industry, and at Maxwell Stephens we pride ourselves on our ability to evolve with it.
Headed up by one of our Recruitment Consultants, Michael Bleasby, Maxwell Stephens are proud to say we have expanded our operations further afield into Europe and beyond. This year we have had the pleasure to provide our services for a variety of international clients in the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Dubai.

We are also very proud with the growth of our prestigious client base this year. From private residences to FTSE 100 companies, the sheer breadth and variety of our client base is a far cry from our humble beginnings over 13 years ago (we have even recruited for royalty several times in 2019).
