Clarion Events are one of the largest exhibition and conferences organisers in the world. They have offices globally and are Headquartered in London where they occupy 30,000 sq. ft. of office space spread over 5 floors. They are in a multi-tenanted building and are the largest tenant.
The Challenge
Maxwell Stephens were brought in on an exclusive basis to help recruit a proactive Facilities professional who is experienced in delivering a customer-focused, safety-conscious approach to Facilities Management. Preferably IOSH trained and a working knowledge of M&E and Fire Systems.
The client was looking for a great communicator (both written and verbal), calm under pressure, current and aware of inclusivity in the workplace, environmentally and sustainability aware, be used to managing budgets across a number of areas, comfortable planning small scale refurb projects, have meticulous attention to detail and be a self-starter who enjoys autonomy and requires very little supervision.
The Results
Following an extensive advertised and head hunting search process we met over fifty prospective candidates for the esteemed position in question. Numerous individuals underwent preliminary interviews, during which Maxwell Stephens presented three exceptionally qualified candidates who demonstrably aligned with the specifications outlined by our client.. All three of these candidates were interviewed by the client, with two advancing to a second stage interview, resulting in a successful appointment to the role. We recently caught up with the successful candidate a year later, and they are loving the role and the environment.
