Maxwell Stephens was appointed to recruit an experienced Engineering Facilities Manager for LSEG's Property Services team, with a particular focus on its headquarters at Paternoster Square in London.

The Challenge
LSEG needed an Engineering Facilities Manager who could operate confidently within a mission-critical, 24/7 environment, where downtime could have significant business consequences. That framing shaped every requirement in the brief:
- Critical engineering expertise. Strong knowledge of high-voltage networks, HVAC systems and Building Management Systems, with the ability to understand and manage complex engineering infrastructure rather than simply oversee it.

Individually, none of these requirements is unusual. Together, and in a financial-markets estate where the tolerance for engineering failure is close to zero, they describe a much smaller candidate pool than the job title alone suggests.
