Maxwell Stephens’ client is an extremely dynamic fast growing corporate organisation who both own and manage a multi-site mixed portfolio of large buildings.

On their behalf Maxwell Stephens are looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager to manage and maintain the very highest standards of Facilities Management and Customer services across their portfolio of buildings.

Our client is particularly keen on the hard services experience and as such in this role as Facilities Manager you will be responsible for regular inspections of the building fabric, associated hard and soft services (through effective coordination of planned and reactive maintenance), site security and health and safety compliance.

This is an important role supporting other onsite more Business Manager’s in their objectives to achieve sites that remain attractive to our client’s customers from both an operational and cost perspective.

Our client has a dynamic team which is an exciting one to work in. Everyday within the company is different and the buildings are actually open 24/7.

Experience Required:

  • 5 years relevant FM experience in commercial buildings?
  • Experience in managing staff and contractors?
  • Awareness of working with planned maintenance programmes and knowledge of relevant compliance and legislation?
  • IOSH or NEBOSH

We are looking for a candidate who is ambitious with a keenness to learn and progress. You will need to have good communication skills and personal skills. Our client like people who want to progress within their career, who want to learn, who want to be successful and also who wants to grow.

For success you will need to have enough technical FM experience but you don’t necessarily need to be M&E qualified. It would be useful if you had enough life experience so that you are in the right place to be able to manage people and manage situations

Our Client are offering a decent financial package of:
£42,000 + 10% Bonus, plus benefits – Share save scheme and the opportunity to buy shares at 20% discounted rate
