What you’ll be doing

 When you join our client, you’ll meet your amazing team of junior facilities colleagues. Together, you’ll ensure all maintenance onsite is delivered effectively; meaning staff can work safely and productively. You’ll be amazed at their commitment and strong work ethic; they’re all as eager as you are to provide an amazing service.

Assisting the Director of Facilities, you help keep the show on the road. Acting on the Health and Safety plan from the Administration and Office Services Co-Ordinator, you’ll provide our client’s staff with a compliant workplace in which to continue their projects.

Your new employer will deeply value your diplomacy and interpersonal communication skills as you create and maintain relationships with the associated client group.

In this highly important role within the organisation, you’ll be personally responsible for your own distinct area of the campus. Within that area, you will check for health and safety issues daily; ensuring the required number of fire wardens and first aiders are recruited and fully trained. The safety of staff in your area will rest solely on you. Therefore, you’ll complete site risk assessments and safety inspections alongside the Director of Facilities, regularly.

You will also work with the Director of Facilities in the delivery of contract services. The cleaning, security, catering, and reception services will be your responsibility. You’ll be required to identify KPI issues, and report them formally to the Contract and Vendor Manager. Our client will also need you to expedite the tasks assigned to the role in the BCP process, and to act on calls from the Help Desk quickly and effectively.

Our client will value your FM experience in the execution of large office projects. You’ll work with the space planner/Director of Facilities on moves and changes, ensuring that all CAD records are kept up to date. As a vital member of the team, you’ll be prepared to carry out moves and changes at international offices if required, potentially as a loan worker.
