Our client are a global corporate organization with nearly thousands of employees worldwide.
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to oversee our client’s main office, with some remote management of other sites in Europe. This position will be responsible for covering both strategic planning and day-to-day operations of sites in relation to buildings and premises. In addition the role may require working with vendors and other companies providing a service to our client.
In addition to managing a small team, your areas of responsibility will include:
- Premises and contract management
- Building and grounds maintenance
- Cleaning, catering and vending
- Health & Safety
- Utilities and communications infrastructure
- Space management (moves and changes)
- Deputising for the Regional Facilities Manager in their absence
We are looking for either an experienced Facilities Manager who has managed multiple sites within an international organization or someone who is looking for the next step in their career and to develop their project and people management skills. Your experience will also include project management and supervising the work of contractors, IOSH, managing central services, monitoring the performance of outsourced providers and planning space utilisation and resources for buildings and reorganising current premises.
You will also have strong organizational and communication skills and be happy working within a fast paced and busy office environment.
