As an electrical or mechanical engineer, you will help lead various compliance and validation-related projects relating to facilities and maintenance within a biotech environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Own and implement the Facilities Change Control Process
  • Participate in and lead various compliance and validation-related projects
  • Create and update documents for compliance requirements
  • Work closely with both the quality and life-cycle management departments to establish all facilities requirements
  • Liaise and consult across the business regarding biotech practices and standards
  • Work closely with the facilities; operations & maintenance teams to establish operational compliance to meet FDA / MHRA / ISO requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures and see that policies are adhered to
  • Participate in ISO, OHSAS, FDA certification programs
  • Provide on-going support to all facilities projects
  • Provide remote and on-site support to regional projects and sites within EMEA region
  • Global alignment of EMEA facilities with USA counterparts

Preferred Skills, Experience and Educational Background:

  • Previous relevant working experience, preferably within a biotech or semiconductor facilities environment
  • Experience in establishing documentation and protocols
  • Ability to work independently and liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Must be committed and good team player
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates
  • Flexibility regarding work overtime when necessary
  • Proficient with various software applications programs including SAP, MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
