Maxwell Stephens is recruiting on behalf of the client for the role of Interim Head of Events and Hospitality Services Manager who provide a pro-active leadership of Events and Hospitality Services teams while being responsible for the hospitality officer and events officer.
You will bring your advice and expertise in areas of events management, venue management, venue hire sales, catering and licensing to sure that you are managing events within the hospitality budget.
You are a decisive leader with experience in managing a commercial conference team, outsourced catering contracts, sales targeting and team development who is able to manage finances.
You drive outstanding performance by inspiring, motivating and coaching team members to ensure that you are always demonstrating excellent customer services.
You have a strong sense of commercial acumen.
You key role will be to improve management of overall service by ensuring a streamlined and professional service focusing on medium to large events this will be done by you identifying and developing new initiatives.
Your organisation skills and communication will help you in scheduling and support external events as well as managing external catering contractors. This will see you develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure effective engagement.
Being a strong leader will enable you to lead the teams through structural change and transformation.
You will manage the budgets.
