Maxell Stephens is recruiting on behalf of the client for the role of Campus Duty Manager who will join a team of four Campus Duty Managers and work as part of the Campus Operations Team to support the delivery of safe secure and productive environments.



You will be employed initially on a temporary basis for a six month period with the view to being made permanent based on performance.

You will act as a point of contact and escalation for any issues or incidents.

About You

 You are experienced in working at a similar level of responsibility as needed for this role and may have experience in a similar customer or public facing role.

You have a full and up to date First Aid Qualification.

You are able to work in fast paced and busy environment, while still being able to manage and prioritise workloads while retaining a high level of customer service.

You deal with challenging situations appropriately and sensitively this will be lead by your great communication skills.

 

Your Responsibilities

You will support the Director in the day to day management of the campus.

As part of this role you will fully qualified First Aider for the campus and any specified events as well as the Fire Officer/ Incident Manager.

You will carry out a daily briefing with security guards on site to pick up on any issues arising.  As well as carry out the handover to night guards.

You will regularly review activities taking place on campus to ensure alignment with local Risk Assessments and safety protocols.

A key part to this role will be maintaining a positive relationship between the Estates & Campus Operations team and all customers by being professional, responsive and providing excellent standards of customer service and communication at all times.

 Important

Estates & Campus Operations staff are required to be physically in attendance to contribute to operations on the three campuses during normal opening

hours. These hours are typically 08.00 to 22.00 weekdays, Monday to Friday, but these may be subject to change in line with College operating requirements.

In order to support these hours, the Campus Duty Manager will be required to work to cover late campus opening hours to 22.00, which will entail a shift pattern of 14.30 to 22.30, but to expect to be flexible as the demands of the role require.

In addition, some extended hours or weekend working may be required to support College functions or public events.
