Maxwell Stephens is delighted to be recruiting for the role of Head of Safety Governance and Risk who will ensure that the entire estate is compliant with legal and statutory requirements.

While at the same time providing engaging senior leadership with you commitment to safety and risk.

About You             

You are a senior leader who is competent in delivering strategic planning.

You are a chartered member of IOSH or another relevant industry accreditation with significant experience of management health and safety at a senior level.

As well as this you are able to use your leadership skills to collaboratively lead teams.

Alongside all of this you have a proven track record of implementing programmes to deliver safe, reliable and compliant operations while positively impacting the organisations safety and wellbeing.

As an individual you are creative and optimistic and engage with others well using your exceptional communication skills.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 You will work with everyone across the estate to ensure that exceptional standards of safety are in place by supporting learning and challenging safety preconceptions.

As well as this you will lead on the development of health and safety management systems and supporting technologies to meet best practice standards.

You will lead and coach a high performing and customer focused team of safety and compliance specialists.

You will also plan, monitor and control budgets.

Alongside this all you will manage, monitor and escalate risks and issues as relevant while still ensure awareness is maintained around heath and safety and fire regulations.
