Back to Vacancies ListMaxwell Stephens is delighted to have been asked by the client to recruit for the role of Head of Engineering Services who will lead the Engineering Services Team in providing a safe an compliant estate.
This role will ensure that the team are appropriately managed, structured and resourced to maintain the estates buildings and infrastructure.
A key part of this role will be reviewing existing departmental systems and processes, propose and implementing improvements where necessary.
About You
You hold a HND, degree or equivalent demonstration of CPD in Engineering Services, as well as an IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
You have significant experience as a manager/leader in a building services or engineering services role.
This role requires someone who is an excellent communicator and relationship builder which is all enabled by your leadership skills.
You have a good understanding of budget management, setting and financial accounts.
Your Responsibilities
You will devise a strategic approach to the development and maintenance of the estate.
This role will see you ensure that the team is led, manage, developed and organised to deliver the high-quality engineering services support that is required.
You will assist in setting the departments budgets and ensure it is adhered to.
You will also have oversight of the planned preventative maintenance programme and reactive maintenance where you will ensure all works are carried out to the standards required in appropriate timescales.
As well as this you will set up and manage the CAFM system which is suitable to deliver the departments goals.
You will apply structure and clarity and projects.
