Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role Project Support officer in London.

The role will be working from home as well as working within the office.

The successful candidate will support the project management professionals with administration to ensure successful delivery. The individual would be providing support for up to 5 project managers with a variety of different projects.



About the role

  • Supported by the PMO Senior Managers, your role will require you to lead the rollout of a new project and programme management tools. As well as, developing new templates and information when required.
  • Your role will require you to assist with the Project Officers with the completion of documents required by the Governance processes, this will be done by collating information, obtaining authorisations and proof reading paperwork for submission.
  • You will be required to arrange and setup project meetings and attend meetings when required.
  • Your role will require you to support the Project officers with collating information relevant to the projects as well as supporting them with project financials, budget documentation while liaising with the Finance Division staff when needed.
  • You will act as a key point of contact for the projects.
  • You will be required to provide cover for the administrative team with raising purchase orders and receipting invoices for payments.
  • Your role will require you to assist the Project Officers with the management of project schedules, risk registers and monitoring internal and external inter-dependencies within the projects.

 

About You

  • In depth knowledge of Project and Programme Management Software tools
  • Good standard of education; highly literate and numerate
  • Excellent IT skills in the MS Office suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to a wide range of people at all levels including complex and/or technical issues to non-specialists
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
