Our client is a global leader in the service world. Due to exceptional growth they now have an outstanding opportunity for an individual who can take full responsibility for a team of several hundred individuals, and who can effectively control and take full responsibility of an annual operational spend of hundreds of millions. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for all facilities management service delivery to the diverse portfolio of property across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom.
You will take the lead and direct to ensure contractual commitments across the diverse portfolio of properties serving an equally diverse range of end-users and clients. You will act as the focal point/subject matter expert in operational strategy, leading on best working practice, innovation, industry trends both internally and externally and you will seek and champion continuous service improvements. You will also be responsible for developing relationships with investors to further develop and compliment new and existing business. You will further establish and roll out agreed SLA’s across all disciplines of the department and establish an appropriate and robust monitoring and reporting capability.
For success in this exciting role you are likely to have excelled within Retail, Leisure or the Commercial Property field, able to demonstrate a deep understanding of managing a large national portfolio of people and resources remotely. Have the ability to lead a team within a complex matrix structure with varying types of staff both seconded and TUPE. Have the ability to demonstrate a broad knowledge of all aspects of Strategy, Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management and Financial/Commercial models. Plus an understanding of current H&S best practice.
