An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious organisation operating within a luxury residential environment in Central London.

This is a hands-on role within a high-end residential setting where attention to detail, professionalism, and a proactive approach to maintenance are essential. Working as part of an established property team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and presentation of a first-class facility.

The Role

As Maintenance Engineer, you will undertake a varied mix of planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, compliance checks, and general building maintenance across a luxury residential environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Electrical fault finding, repairs, and minor installations

• Planned and reactive maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems

• Fixed wire inspection and testing in accordance with current regulations

• PAT testing and statutory compliance checks

• Supporting the maintenance and operation of HVAC and mechanical systems

• Plant room inspections and routine asset checks

• Basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and general building fabric repairs

• Fire alarm testing, water temperature monitoring, and compliance-related inspections

• Managing contractors on site and reviewing RAMS

• Supporting health & safety compliance and maintaining high operational standards throughout the building

About You

To be considered, you will ideally possess:

• Previous experience within a maintenance engineering, building services, facilities, or property maintenance role

• Strong electrical maintenance knowledge

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (highly desirable)

• Experience carrying out fault finding and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems

• Good understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements

• A flexible, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills

• The ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
