The Opportunity
As National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing a portfolio of key national accounts. You will be responsible for building long-term client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities and delivering sustainable revenue growth across multiple service lines.
This is a relationship-led commercial role requiring strong account management capability, strategic thinking and disciplined execution. You will work closely with internal operational and commercial teams to ensure exceptional customer experience, maximise client value and drive long-term account development.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially focused and confident managing complex stakeholder relationships across national accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a portfolio of national and key accounts
• Deliver revenue growth, retention and increased customer value across assigned clients
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across multiple service offerings
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and future revenue
• Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting and CRM management
• Execute commercial plans and client engagement strategies in line with wider business objectives
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high levels of customer service and operational performance
• Maintain a detailed understanding of client structures, opportunities and challenges
• Support long-term strategic account development and relationship-led growth
• Provide market insight and customer feedback to support ongoing commercial improvement
About You
• Proven experience in National Account Management, Key Account Management or strategic client relationship roles
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering revenue growth
• Experience managing multi-site or national client accounts
• Skilled at developing long-term customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
• Strong CRM discipline and forecasting capability
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Self-motivated, proactive and highly customer focused
