Our client is a world leader in the commercial property sector and have an opportunity for a General Manager to join their prestigious business. The General Manager will be accountable for delivering and maintaining standards of operational excellence across a designated portfolio of properties, as well as contributing to the region’s strategic leadership group.
You will be a successful leader of people with a proven track record of leading FM and Property teams to ensure achieved team performance. This role will very much be focused on creating and maintaining a high performing team; providing training and development opportunities for the team, specifically field coaching, to enable them to maximise their performance and be empowered by decision making.
The General Manager will act as a point of escalation for the people issues within the region, will be tasked with budgetary responsibility; tracking service charge budgets within portfolio, understanding variances and red flag issues and also Team P&L.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven track record of leading, developing and effectively managing a team within a facilities management sector at a senior level
- Experience of delivering financial targets including service charge budget responsibility
- Proven ability to understand and interpret the local market environment and formulate business development plans in terms of identifying new business opportunities accordingly
- Previous experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver service excellence and meet all business objectives
