A unique opportunity has arisen for a Building Manager to work (client side) on one of the most prestigious, high-end and exciting residential developments within South West London.
Responsible for the effective and efficient day to day facilities management, including Health & Safety, of those communal elements of the building(s), car parks, landscaped areas and other facilities occupied or used by; residential leaseholders, tenants, commercial occupiers and their visitors.
Duties will be varied and will include:
- Being responsible for the management of Health & Safety
- Maintain IT based Portal Facilities Management reporting system
- Providing efficient, effective and economic building and estate facilities management services.
- Implementing and managing the asset register
- Managing any outsourced contracts
- Carrying out quarterly In-house audits on buildings and the public realm
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A strong knowledge of building and estates management, project management methodology and current Health & Safety legislation.
- Strong customer services focus, based on service excellence.
- Polite, courteous, with a smart and clean appearance.
- Available for work out of hours including weekends if necessary.
- A strong knowledge of building and estates management, project management methodology and current Health & Safety legislation.
- Highly organised, with well-developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Able to apply discretion and sensitivity in dealing with confidential matters.
- Qualified Member of the British Institute of Facilities Management.
- NEBOSH General Certificate examination pass gained in the last 5 years.
