Maxwell Stephens have been appointed to find the client, a large economic research company, to find the right person for their Assistant Facilities Manager role. The client prides themselves on driving teamwork and pursuing a collective excellence in all they do. About you

For this role you will have a degree, preferably at a minimum of a 2:1. You may have an IOSH Managing Safely qualification and an understanding of Health and Safety legalisation.

You will have previous experience in Facilities or Office Administration.

As a person you will have the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders confidently, these communication skills will help you work effectively in a team.

Day to Day Responsibilities

As part of this role you will ensuring the implementation of Health and Safety as pat of this you will make sure that the office is staff with appropriately trained first aiders and fire wardens.

Being organised is part of your nature and this will ensure you are able to maintain accurate records, including maintaining the firm’s CARM system and staff portal.

There are several key responsibilities you will have, including:
• Managing the gyms in terms of maintenance and class scheduling
• Monitoring the Facilities spends against the budget and reporting on monthly expenditure
• Managing external service partners which include catering and security to ensure all services are delivered on time and in budget.

For this role you will also take a key role in supporting the souring, designing and fitting of office locations.
