Maxwell Stephens has been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Building and Facilities Manager to cover a vacancy created by maternity leave.

This opportunity is for 4 days per week. So the salary listed above will need to be multiplied by 0.8.

This role is a varied role which is integral to the smooth day to day running of this educational institute.

In this role you will be expected to manage multiple tasks often with tight deadlines, it is important that you are able to prioritise your workload.

About You

You have a degree or equivalent experience work building facilities management in a multi-user environment.

You are flexible which enables you to be responsive to demands that are ever changing.

You are capable of using your excellent communication skills to influence and persuade others from varied audiences, this includes key stakeholders and as part of a team.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as part of this role will include managing the operation of the building, monitoring building security, maintenance, fabric and furnishing issues to ensure it meets the needs of everyone.

You will maintain awareness of fire and health and safety regulations.

In preparation for a refurbishment project you will work with the Property and Facilities Management Team and the manager to implement the decant plan.

You will monitor project budgets as well as approve and raise purchase/work orders for requests for services, equipment and catering.
