Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of a property company for a Maintenance Specialist role.
A newly created role to assist the growth of the company portfolio ensuring all offices are running smoothly and new offices are finished to the highest standard.
You will be responsible for identifying and reporting the needs for major repairs. You will also oversee the work of contractors attending the sites.
You will contribute to the delivery of preventative planned maintenance schedules and report on the completion of the tasks.
Your will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and light repairs including but not limited to leaks (changing taps, general plumbing), tiling, minor electrical works, lock changes as well as some decorating works: Painting, picture frames etc.
You will support and assist the mobilisation team during tenant move ins.
Light carpentry will be required within this role as you will be responsible for building cabinets.
Skills and Experience
You will have experience working as a handyman or builder as well as experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
You will have a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems as well as basic maths skills.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be a positive team player but will also be comfortable working alone.
You will be well organised with good attention detail enabling you to spot problems before they happen. Health and safety is a priority.
You will hold a EU or UK driving license with the use of a vehicle.
