Interim Compliance and Minor Works Manager
Back to Vacancies ListMaxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of a educational establishment for a Compliance and Minor Works Manager.
The Compliance and Minor Works Manager will project manage the ongoing Minor Works Programme and the annual approved Capital Expenditure programme.
Your Role
You will establish and maintain a schedule of all applicable Statutory Compliance and Building Regulation obligations for the sites. You will also conduct regular audits to provide assurance that building compliance is being adequately managed.
You will be responsible for ensuring the CAFM database is accurate and complete. You will also be responsible for scheduling and coordinating Planned Preventative Maintenance and remedial works as necessary.
You will collate, prepare, and submit the annual Capital Expenditure programme for improvements and remediations to building and facilities; manage contractors,
suppliers, and the delivery of projects and changes in a timely manner.
You will support the Head of Asset Management in the preparation of a comprehensive, detailed, and thorough Forward Maintenance Plan covering a period of 5-7 years ahead; provide budgeted costs and specifications of works where required.
You will also support the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring activities comply with all health, safety, environmental, and CDM (2015) regulations for maintenance, minor works, and capital projects.
Skills and Experience
You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience of managing building services, statutory compliance and minor works for multiple sites.
You will have good building services knowledge and excellent Statutory Compliance knowledge.
You will have experience working with CAFM systems and planning Planned Preventative Maintenance across multiple buildings and sites.
You will have good IT skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
You will be organised and able to manage your time effectively.
