Maxwell Stephens is delighted to be recruiting for the role of Safety Advisor who will work alongside other safety advisors and specialists.
In this role you will provide advice and assurance and assistance on safety matters to departments across the estate.
You are educated to a degree level and/or have relevant experience in a similar role (a minimum of five years).
As well as this you hold a professional qualification such as an IOSH or similar.
You have experience working in health and safety in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Alongside all of this you are computer literate with database skills.
You are self-motivated with the ability to priortise workloads in an organised manner, with a proactive attitude you are able to initiate projects and activities to improve health and safety performance.
In this role you will have several key responsibilities which are as follows:
To assist in the delivery of Safety Services aims, objectives and agreements.
You will be the contact point and advisor for any safety issues, this will see you deliver training and coaching as required.
As well as this you will investigate accidents and incidents. While at the same time promote awareness across departments of the arrangements for managing health and safety.
You will also liaise with key specialists and managers in relation to the management of safety.
