Maxwell Stephens is delighted to have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Safety Advisor who will join as a member of the Safety Services Team to work alongside other safety advisors and specialists.
The amin purpose of this role is to provide advice, assurance and assistance on safety matters.
You are educated to a degree level or have at least five years relevant experience in a similar role.
Alongside this you hold a professional qualifications such as an IOSH or a similar recognised qualification.
As well as this you have pervious experience of managing health and safety in a substantial and complex organisation.
This has been aided by your good planning and ability to organise work under pressure.
You work well as part of a team and are able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
This role will see you assist the Director of Safety in the delivery of Safety Services aims and objectives was well as any agreements.
As required you will deliver health and safety training and coaching.
You will act as specialist advisor/ assessor as required.
As part of this role you will liaise with enforcement agencies such as the Health and Safety Executive and the Environment Agency.
You will be responsible for maintaining an awareness and observation of statutory regulations in respect of premises including Fire and Health and Safety Regulations.
