In this role you will provide general building fabric maintenance repair and upkeep across a range of large commercial properties.
About You
You have at least three years’ experience working in a building fabric maintenance role or in a similar environment.
As well as this you have a BTEC or a City and Guilds qualification in Carpentry or Painting and Decorating.
You are a clear communicator who is conscientious of others which enables you to successfully work as part of a team.
You are aware of Health and Safety legislative and understand the relevance to safe working practices and best practice in a commercial property setting.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will play an active role in carrying out Service Desk reactive tasks as directed by service desk administer.
You will be proactive in this role to identify, repair and maintain general fixtures and fittings, this includes and is not exhaustive to, painting, door repairs and building fabric repairs to shower facilities.
As well as this you will supervise contractor visits.
As part of this role you will be responsible for identifying, managing and reporting any risks, accidents or near misses.
