Our client, one of the world’s leading global asset managers, is currently looking to appoint a new workplace assistant to help assist with all matters under the smooth running of the business. With their revenue spiking well above £500million in the last few years, this is certainly an opportunity to grasp.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be an integral part of our Workplace team and assist in all matters relating to the smooth running of the London office, as well as provide assistance to the Workplace Global Coordinator and Global Head of Workplace when needed.

Daily and frequent office walk-arounds ensuring the office quality is maintained.

Raising issues with the Workplace team to contact an appropriate contractor where required for remedial work (decorating, cleaning etc).

Assisting with the day-to-day running of the reprographics services, producing documents to the required standard and meeting print deadlines, calling the engineer to resolve printer issues as required.

Logging and management of calls to external contractors relating to electrical appliances i.e. dishwasher, fridges and vending machines.

Assist with post and deliveries; ensure all deliveries are picked up in a timely manner and delivered to the appropriate locations; assist with moving marketing material for deliveries/courier pick-ups as and when required.

Liaise with Front of House to configure rooms set ups to suit the business requirement in all relevant areas.


Skills and Expertise

 You have good working knowledge of word processing i.e. Word, Excel

You are Hands on, pro-active and motivated

You are flexible, positive and innovative with a ‘can do’ attitude

You are a more than competent problem solver and multitasker

You obtain good communication skills

You have excellent customer service attitude

You are pro-active in building in maintaining internal relationships
