Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of a client for a Studio Manager.

The client are looking for a super organised Studio Manager to oversee the day to day running of their studio and warehouse space in Slough.

 Your Role

You will liaise with suppliers and providers to ensure the smooth running of the premises (utilities, IT providers, Cleaners, Telecoms providers, adhoc deliveries).

You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they have a first class experience within the facility. You will resolve facilities issues to keep the space in tip-top condition – everything from broken door handles to fire extinguishers.

You will produce and implement a planned / routine maintenance schedule. You will get quotes for maintenance work and coordinating any works that need to be carried out with minimal disruption to the day to day running of the space.

You will co-ordinate building inductions for new employees. You will work with our Office Manager and Health and Safety providers to ensure the facility is safe and that employees and visitors are aware of the processes.

Monitoring works conducted/service provided by suppliers, measuring and reporting performance against agreed SLA’s where applicable.

You will act as the principal contact for out-of-hours assistance regarding the facility, including supervision of out-of-hours building maintenance and responding to emergency situations or other urgent issues where necessary.

 

Skills and Experience

 You will be a problem solver. You have the ability to work under your own initiative to get issues rectified.

You live locally to Slough.

Part of the requirement for this position will be coordinating the opening up and closing up of the units. Sometimes this requirement will be outside of usual working hours.

You will be comfortable having multiple things to do at any one time. You are organised and planning comes naturally to you.
