Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Regional Facilities Manager.

In this role you will take overall responsibility for the management and delivery of exceptional facilities services.

About You

For this role you will have a minimum 5 years industry experience, operating at similar level of responsibility.

As well as this you will have at least an IOSH qualification.

You will have a membership of IWFM or other recognised professional body.

For this role you will have a good understanding of Mechanical & Electrical systems as well as a good understanding and working knowledge of the RICS Code of Practice for Service Charges in Commercial Properties.

You have clear leadership and management qualities which are aided by your excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

For this role you will be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 to include Word, Excel, Outlook & One Note


What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will comprehensively manage, plan and co-ordinate the physical and environmental conditions within the multi-occupied buildings as designated.

You will ensure all services necessary are provided for the full and effective operation of the building in accordance with the lease provisions, as directed by the Asset Management Surveyor.

Using your interpersonal skills you will liaise regularly with all occupiers, keeping them informed of all works and services within the buildings and understanding their occupational requirements.

This role will see you monitor contractor performance, attendance, cost and value.

As well as all of this you will ensure that all safety records, statutory inspections, reports and documentation are retained and are up to date.

You will approve expenditure, within given authority levels, on building services expenditure and monitor service charge expenditure within all relevant properties.

In this role you will develop plans to reduce utility consumption and associated carbon emissions, with energy saving initiatives to support the Sustainability Policy.
