Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role Assistant Building Manager in London with a premier developer of assets.

Our clients underlying tactic is to acquire and own a portfolio of predominately Central London Prestige Properties that offer significant prospects to enrich and obtain benefit through renewal, rejuvenation and revitalisation.

You will report to a Manager that has an oversight of a cluster of buildings.

About the role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management  of the building, involvement in the recruitment of site team, management of third party suppliers and putting in place management procedures.

You role will be to liaise with stakeholders and building occupiers to ensure an excellent level of service is maintained. You will need to maintain contact with the appropriate manager for each occupier and deal with requests, complaints and other incidents.

You will need to assist in leading the team on site including both directly employed and third parties to create an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, committed and passionate team that will deliver an outstanding level of service to the occupiers.

You will be expected to assist in keeping all services under review, looking at new initiatives and ideas, making recommendations and implementing improved services.

You will need to understand business needs and the clients ambitions and ensure that the team contributes to the corporate goals.

Ensuring that weekly tasks and checks have been completed on all utility consumption, investigate and report to the Sustainability team.  Complete monthly reports for the team.

You will need to attend any relevant courses that will enhance your knowledge required to successfully manage the property.

You may be required to support other colleagues in the operations of other assets other than your building.
