Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role Interim Building and Facilities Manager in London.

The purpose of the role will be to maintain the premises and Facilities in line with the operations and Health and Safety requirements to keep the standards professional at all times.

The role will cover sickness and will initially last for a month or so.



  • Roles and Responsibilities

    Two immediate projects include:

    • Cleaning Retender – So It would be helpful if you have tendering experience
    • Refurbishment – Newly acquired office next door to existing premises – Again it would be helpful if you have this experience

    Other day to Day Duties:

    • You will maintain the décor, fabric and integrity including the lights around the premises.
    • Your role will require you to liaise with Landlords, Professionals and agents regarding the premises matters.
    • Your role will require you to take responsibility of the planning, arranging and overseeing of the structural, mechanical and electrical maintenance.
    • You will be identifying, costing and tendering appropriate contractors to undertake building and facilities projects.
    • The role will require you to be responsible for the Health and safety matters by undertaking weekly floor and room checks for hazards, completing fire alarm tests and ensuring the evacuation procedures are all in order within the building on a weekly basis. You will be nominated as the Fire Marshal and Appointed First aider.
    • Your role will require you to be responsible for the security of the premises.
    • The role will require you to be responsible for management of budgets which are relating to the buildings and facilities.
