Our client, a global corporate firm, have an opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join their business and be based at their premises in the city of London. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office environment and will manage all property and office-related services.

Key responsibilities

  • Management and motivation of all Soft FM services including outsourced Receptionists team and working with the contractor to provide a seamless service
  • Building Management & Operation: Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the premises associated with Landlord responsibilities and other Hard FM tasks such as repairs and maintenance
  • Budgetary responsibility for the “Property Budget” in conjunction with Partner with oversight of Facilities for these areas of operations and services
  • Liaison with Landlord, tenants and other authorities as appropriate on both demised and estate matters including rent and service charges
  • Regular tenants reviews to ensure satisfaction and operations according to sub-let agreements
  • Contract management of all third party Soft FM contractors (including cleaning, hospitality, taxi, stationery, couriers, post, franking, travel agent, TV subscriptions)
  • Supplies: Ordering stationery and printed matter such as business cards, order printing, faxing and photocopying supplies, catering, organise confidential waste and recycling collections
  • Tendering of services as appropriate
  • Projects / Internal Office Management – moves and changes
  • Fire evacuations, first aid and other business continuity events
