Our client, a leading provider of Facilities Management solutions across the UK are currently seeking an experienced and competent Mechanical & Electrical Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of high quality services to their customer base within London and the surrounding Home Counties. Services delivered will include planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and small project works.
In this role you will lead a team of mobile M&E Engineers and specialist subcontractors and work closely with the Customer Service Centre to plan/prioritise workloads, identify/manage risk, and ensure compliance.
Identify key stake holders and forge excellent working relationships.
Understand the client needs and strategy of designated portfolio to ensure the services provided meet the client’s requirements, statutory compliance and delivers in a safe manner.
Proactively review service provision in order to identify efficiencies and cost savings.
Prepare management information in line with KPI requirements.
Ensure you are aware of and meet the legal, company and client requirements for HSE
Ensure all Procedures and Policies are adhered to in relation to Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, IT and HR.
To manage employee performance, development and training to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
To develop, review processes, monitoring, reporting, operation and maintenance of all parameters required to support the efficient running of the services.
To provide a focal point for Client interfacing to develop, understand, manage and communicate on all matters relating to performance, plant optimisation, maintenance activity, and lifecycle capital works programmes.
To be successful in this role you should be able to clearly demonstrate the following;
- Significant contract management experience of M&E, within a leading provider of
facilities management services to private and public sector clients.
- Energetic in demeanour, punctual, proactive and reliable
- Ability to lead, guide and motivate a workforce of engineers/building fabric operatives towards achievement.
- A good understanding of workplace Health & Safety
Flexible attitude/aptitude and ability to work within a fast moving environment are integral to this role.
