Maxwell Stephens’ client, a global design, engineering, and planning firm with numerous offices around the world employing nearly 2000 incredibly talented staff, is recruiting a permanent Workplace Change Consultant.

Initially, you’ll work three days a week in our client’s Luxemburg office with the remaining two days at their London HQ, in the heart of the west end of London.

Maxwell Stephens, the UK’s leading facilities management recruitment company, have been appointed by the client to find a self-motivated fluent French speaker with a positive, communicative, and collaborative approach. Your work will be concerned with our client’s unique professional environment, providing consultation support for the completion and execution of Workplace Change Management projects.

Only candidate who possess the formal change management qualification, prosci, will be considered for this role.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join our team of design thinkers and doers who are experts in delivering workplace strategy services which adhere to our client’s management systems, and you’ll report to a company director or other senior staff depending on the task you’re underway with.

You’ll bring excellent organisational skills and an ability to multi-task to the role. Your knowledge and appreciation of the value of design and how it builds and transforms organisations when correctly executed underpins your project management skills and it’s how you gained your experience of leading small teams. You’re able to develop processes and methodologies to understand and analyse workplace design and space planning from quantitative and qualitative perspectives.

You’re a confident communicator and presenter with outstanding verbal, written and graphic skills. These are talents that our client will rely on your being able to deploy every day, particularly when, with colleagues, you prepare vital project proposals (including narrative elements, services descriptions, and fee modelling) and interview material.

You’ll manage project implementation and the teams that work on them. You’ll be in charge of client meetings and facilitating to the needs of small to large groups. Part of your role will involve managing face-to-face facilitation workshops, staff surveys and conducting research from multiple stakeholders. Once a course of action has been agreed upon, you’ll take responsibility informing and supporting executive decision making on project implementation and change by presenting competing approaches together with each solutions’ strengths and weaknesses.

You have an ability to juggle multiple projects and properties under time pressure, all the time thinking from both an organisational demand and a building supply perspective. You can take client requirements and translate them into an easy-to-follow brief which you then communicate to the design team. When reporting back to the client, you do so using their strategy and design guidelines & terminology.

You’re comfortable with data and research material. You use this to build a narrative around data to present it in a clear and concise way to others. You can also translate these findings into client-specific strategies that address business goals in the areas of real estate, facilities, workplace, and organisational development.

About you

You have a graduate degree in business, real estate, finance, organisational behaviour or occupational psychology. You’re fluent in English and French with excellent Office and Excel skills. Applicants conversant with AutoCAD are encouraged to apply.

You bring to our client a proven post-grad experience and track record in workplace analytics. You have a deep knowledge of agile working programs on which you have demonstrated good analytical and translation skills. You are comfortable working in roles where travel and overtime are essential to the successful carrying out of responsibilities.
