As Co-Founder and Finance Director of Maxwell Stephens, Lynsie has played a pivotal role in the company's growth since it was established in 2006.

With a career built around finance, commercial management and business operations, she has been instrumental in developing the financial foundations that have enabled Maxwell Stephens to become one of the UK's leading specialist Facilities Management recruitment consultancies.

Over nearly two decades, Lynsie has overseen the company's financial strategy, ensuring the business remains commercially strong while supporting sustainable, long-term growth. Her pragmatic approach, attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement have helped shape Maxwell Stephens into the trusted business it is today.

As Finance Director, Lynsie works closely with the Board to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making across the business.

Her responsibilities include:

• Leading the company's financial planning and strategy.
• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Producing monthly and annual management accounts.
• Overseeing payroll, treasury and financial reporting.
• Managing year-end accounts and external audits.
• Working closely with banking, insurance and professional advisers.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial and statutory obligations.
• Supporting the continued growth and long-term success of Maxwell Stephens.

Although finance sits at the heart of her role, Lynsie is far from a traditional back-office Finance Director. She takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the business and believes that strong financial management should actively support outstanding customer service, operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Having been involved since day one, she has witnessed Maxwell Stephens grow from a start-up into an established national recruitment consultancy, working with many of the UK's best-known organisations across the Facilities Management, Estates and Workplace sectors.

For Lynsie, one of the most rewarding aspects of the journey has been seeing the long-term relationships the business has built with clients, candidates and colleagues over the years.

Away from work, Lynsie enjoys travelling, relaxing in warmer climates, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of life's simple pleasures—particularly good food, great wine and a beautiful beach.
